Additional Biographical Information
Ancestor Walker listed himself as a farmer and enlisted in New London, OH. Within twelve days his unit was engaged in the Battle of Bull Run. He was mustered out with his unit in 1865. Subsequently he received a pension for his wounds which were a crushed leg and hip. He walked with a cane late in life.
