I started my one-name study in January 2000 with 60 names in my immediate family. Through my online research, I made fast friends with two distant cousins in England. When we decided to become an investigative team, our research blossomed. We now have a database including just over 1400 individuals named Waddicor and their spouses. This database grows on a weekly basis thanks to the contributions of others.
The Waddicor family lived almost exclusively in Lancashire, England at least from the early 18th century through present day. We have based our findings on church records and census records from 1841 through 1891, documented to the best of our ability whenever possible. We have had great success in finding trees for Waddicor descendents. With so much Waddicor data in just one file, your contribution of your great grandparents names may just yield you several generations of your Waddicor family history with one e-mail! Your contribution benefits us all as we gain greater insight into a generation not quite as simple to trace. It amazes us every time we hear from a new Waddicor cousin and can connect their great grandparents with a larger tree!
