So many families, so little time! FTM limits their Internet Tree to 2000 individuals (and we have many more than that!) so we do not have an Index of Individuals or a Surnames link on this site.
We do have a Book link on this page and there is a Contents page which will help you find the family line you are interested in on our site. BUT.......because of the amount of source notes and documentation we have now, we have only listed outlines of the families listed. We have so much more to share with you, so drop us an email and we'll be happy to share our research with you!
Perfection's hard to attain! Please let us know if we've posted something you feel needs to be corrected.
Our sincere THANK YOU goes out to all those researchers who have shared their "family finds" with us and our ever growing family! We hope we've got them all listed as sources! Together, our individual branches will provide future generations with a wonderful....and sometimes colorful.. tree of family history.
REMEMBER....cut and paste is a great tool....but please don't do it! We really don't mind sharing so, if you use our research, we'd like the courtesy of an email from you "in advance"!
As of September 2007, we decided to take the dreaded jump (agh!) and add our database to Ancestry's site so we could have a nice place to put our research and our photos. The Ancestry site is private access only though. Please contact us if you have an interest in visiting that site. We'll be happy to check our database for anyone asking and provide you with whatever we have on an individual you might be interested in that's in our database.
The Family Report links shown on this page are those that we consider as our "Brick Wall Families". We hope by posting them here, someone will recognize them and write to us. :)
The Related links shown on this page are just those we would like to share with everyone so be sure and check those out, too.
Happy Searching! Shirley

- ANCESTRY SITE! UP and running NOW! Photos, too! (41 KB)
I have finally done it! I've added my entire database to Ancestry.com as of September 1, 2007. I've added many photos, documents, miscellaneous good stuff (ha) to the site also! So, if you are researching one of my families and would like to be invited to see my Ancestry site, please email me and I'll send you an invitation to visit. The site is "Private Access Only" so an invitation is the only way to see the entire site.
- Memorial - Allie Mae (Stuckey) Horn - 1931-2007 (102 KB)
My mom, Allie Mae (Stuckey) Horn, passed away in November 2007. She was a great mom, an amazing self-made business woman, a wonderful friend and had a trait all we genealogist aspire to....... she could walk an old cemetery in nothing flat reading tombstones as she went! We spent many good hours doing just that. She loved family and family history.......and, enjoyed telling her Stuckey bootlegging stories to us all. Although, she did develope an "allergy to old books" from all the times I had her sitting in libraries thumbing through them. ha! As much as she is missed in our family, we are truly thankful that she is at peace now.......and who knows, maybe she's going to help me find some of those missing relatives that she and I searched for in the past years! :) [Thanks for Kathy Spivey for this wonderful memorial photo.]
- William L. Hoover and Nephews (1 KB)
Thanks to Rayburn Hoover for providing this photo of William "Willy" Lee Hoover, brother of John Wesley Hoover, and John Wesley Hoover's two sons, James O. and William J. Hoover.
- ERROR..........ERROR.........ERROR....... (156 KB)
According to the techs at FTM/Genealogy.com, the non-working photo link listed and titled "William L. Hoover and his nephews....." cannot be removed! A glitch occurred! It's like the Eveready Bunny....the text just keeps coming back on the page! Sorry for the confusion it might cause everyone!!
