WELCOME to this website. The surnames BRENZOVICH and CHUMA on my father's side, and GALINOVSKY and KAVULIC on my mother's side form the roots of my family tree. To date, the BRENZOVICH surname name has been traced back to 1662 when Alexander Brenzovicz was granted nobility by King Leopold I of Hungary. He was also given land in what was Ung County (also known as Carpathian Rus'), present day Transcapathian Oblast Ukraine. The GALINOVSKY surname has also been traced back to 1724 when Pawel Galinovsky was appointed as a "Cheshnik" (cup-holder) by King August II of Poland and given land in what was then the province of Witebsk, present day Belarus.

In my research I quickly realized that the scope of my reserarch was taking me beyound the boundaries of my grandpartents as I made new and wonderful discoveries. As a result, I have developed my own website that allow me more flexibility in conveying my heritage and the story of my family. To visit my website go to the "Related Links" section of this page and click on "Thomas A. Brenzovich, WebSite" for a more detailed presention of my heritage and family. I do hope you take the time and visit this site.
