| I find myself feeling appreciative as I look at all those who lived before me and how hard they worked to survive in what seems to me to be a very troublesome world for them. In the approach to my "world" history I want to know who those are that plowed the fields for me and my life and my success. I believe that the human system has a memory that lies deep within our conscience. As I have traveled back through time and read about these ancestors I am impressed with their faith, their love and their ability to keep going. I find patterns and personalities that survive through the ages, names that repeat, sometimes unconsciously, we are our forebear's children. From all France, England, Ireland, Scotland, to Acadie, Quebec, Montreal, and the "Eastern Townships" of Quebec Province to Manchester, New Hampshire and beyond my relatives journied. Those thousands of BRUNELLE's, DESROSIERS', CLEMENT's, ROBERGE's, POTVIN's, LAROCHELLE's, SMITH's, BARLOW's, HEBERT's, SURPRENANT's, etc. made my life possible and who I am today is a reflection on their memory. This research is in homage to their joys, hopes, journies, sorrows, struggles, aspirations, faith and trust. Thank you God for putting me on this journey of discover! If any of you find information growing in my tree and it looks like a branch for your tree - don't just pick the fruit, but take a cutting and graft it onto your tree, so that our trees grow together and we are once again joined as family.
