LaMAR, WILSON, WINGATE, NEWBOLD, FORBES, LACEFIELD, LACEWELL, LASSWELL, WHITE, MOORE, TIMBERLAKE, STEWART, TRICE, MAULDEN, TOMLINSON, TAYLOR, POINDEXTER, VAUTER, GREGORY, FENDLEY, HAFFNER, BARBEE, REA, BAKER, ASHBROOK, LaPRADE etc....I am researching the above families who all seem to have converged on the state of Tennessee beginning late 1790s -1800s. Some came from VA, some Kty, some NC, some Alabama. James Campbell is thought to have emmigrated from Scotland ca 1790 to Kty/Va and is the most elusive ancestor thus far.
