My paternal Grandfather's family names include BRADDOCK, ORTAGUS, BESSANT, MASTERS, CHRISTOPHER, GREENWOOD, COOK, LYFORD, SPATCHES, CUTLER and COWELL of Florida's St. Johns, Nassau and Duval Counties during the 1800. I am specifically looking for: Oscar F. BRADDOCK b:1828 that was married to Anna Sawyer BESSANT. Their children were William D., James A., Oscar, Mary Louisa, Christiana, Eugena, Melina, Lilly. OSCAR F. BRADDOCK's father was William Henry BRADDOCK b:1777, married to Charlotte Ann CHRISTOPHER. WILLIAM HENRY BRADDOCK's father was John Cutler BRADDOCK b: Oct 03, 1743, married to Lucia Ann COOK. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My paternal Grandmother's family names include CAMPBELL, REAMS, LEE, DILL, LEWIS, TAYLOR, NICHOLSON, GRANTHAM migrating from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia to Madison County, Florida, then to South Florida. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My maternal research includes: ROBERTS, CURRY, GRIFFIN, RUSSELL, PINDER, PARSONS, JOHNSON of Key West, Monroe County, Florida. They immigrated from the Bahamas to Key West around 1850. See below: Family Photos and Related Links. ================================================================ My Husband's paternal side are: CAMPBELL, BOBBITT, HILL, LOYD, FLOYD, ROSS, and CANDISS. The Campbells migrated from Tennessee to Sebastian County, Arkansas sometime before 1851 and then moved to Montgomery County, Arkansas. I have just started finding documentation on this side of our Arkansas roots. Thank you to Grace Gilliland and her mother Anita Mae (Campbell) Kelly for their diligence in family research. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Husband's maternal side are: HAMLIN, SCOTT, POGUE, KELLER, CRANFIELD, JENKINS, SHEPHERD, EPPS, LIPE, HOLT and WATKINS. The Hamlins migrated from around Hawkins County, Tennessee and then to Yell County, Arkansas somtime after 1870.
