Most of this information has come from family and all the friends I have made on the internet. I would like to thank all the Upshaws and Ritcheys for the information they have contributed. If you would like more detailed information or you find a mistake on a person, please e-mail me.

Searching for information on: BROWN, CASBY, OVERY, GEREAU, MCGINNIS, RITCHEY, ROSE AND UPSHAW, WOODY.
Know states they lived in are: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Virginia, and Nebraska.

FACTS:

CLARENCE RAPER BROWN, wife ADDIE MC GINNIS (DICKS) and children lived in Wellston, Mo on Wellsmar Ave during the depression. They lived with a woman they called "Aunt Fannie" but it is not know if she was a relative or not.

Have found out that Addie may have been adopted and her birth name might have been DICKS.

Clarence had 4 brothers, TRUMAN, LEWIS/LOUIS, LOWERY/LAURY & MONROE all believed to be from the St. Louis or Eastern Illinois area. Not sure what their parents names were, but could be Wil Brown & Molly Malone.

It is believed that Clarence worked as a Civil Engineer at one of the hospitals in the St. Louis area.

Clarence & Addie had 6 children: John Henry, Willie Monroe, Raymond Meyer, Marie Arletta, Mary Elizebeth and Nellie Beatrice.

I would greatly appreciate any information on this family.

WILLIAM CASBY:

Married Mary Overy, lived in the St. Louis area before moving to the St. Francis County, MO area. William was in the army and was a disabled veteran.

ANY INFORMATION ON ANY OF THESE FAMILIES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...
