I am researching my ancestors who came mostly from the southern U.S.: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, and then migrated through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and finally into Texas. I am researching many names, some of which are: Coffee, Crawford, Foster, Graves, Holden, Holmes, Hutson, Jones, Kernohan, Jordan, Lamar, Marshall, Martin, McCullar, McGehee, Mitchell, Ozment, Phelps, Randle, Roberts, Spurlock, Traylor, Varner and Wall. Most of my ancestors came to America in the late 1700's or earlier. They were mainly of English, Irish, and Scots ancestry. I would appreciate hearing from any cousins and I love to share! |
