I. Uriah DAVIS/Jensie(Jennie)WHITE. Children: Elizabeth,George,Thomas,Uriah,Abner,John T.,James M., Larkin,Ellison Mitchell,William Jenkins,and Martha.My particular line is from Uriah: John T. DAVIS, b 1817/1818 and William Anna McFarland. John T. settled in Stoddard County, MO. Prior to this, Gasconade County, MO. John appears to have been born in So. Indiana and then moved to Weakley,TN before moving to MO. Hershel DAVIS (my great-grandfather) married Susan BUSH(b.1870,IL) in Bloomfield, Stoddard County, MO in March 1888. Their daughter, Ida Pearl Davis married the youngest son of Frederick R. Davis and Eliza Wright (see Davis II below), Charles Riley Davis.

II. Different Davis line from above. Vachel DAVIS b. 1807/08 SC m. Malinda KELLY of Elbert County, GA. Migrated to So. Il. in early to mid 1830s. Children: John W.,Mary E., W.P.,Malinda J., Sarah C.,Simeon M.,Virgil P.,Fredrick R.,Amanda,and Hugh W.. Fredrick m. Eliza WRIGHT, b. 1849 So. Il.

III. Louis Bush(immigrated from Prussia with his parents and probably had a lastname change)and Phebe Slow, m. 28 December 1864, Posey County, Indiana.
Phebe was the daugher of Wesley Slow and Susan Jane Grigsby, m. 30 March 1842. Susan Jane Grigsby was the daughter of Tolliver Grigsby and Winifred Johnson. Winnie was the daughter of Arthur Johnson, Revolutionary War veteran.
