On these pages are the ancestors and decendants of Jackson Davis and his wife Verla Nadine Pedersen-Davis. The work is by no means complete and I will be adding as we learn more.
Much of what you will find on these pages was researched by their daughter, Vicki Cheryl Davis-Sampson. Vicki has documented this material and some, but not all of the documentation is listed. Vicki's work has been entered by or scanned, edited and pasted by Jack D.Davis (me) and it is believed to be accurate. Some errors in OCR scanning do occur and I have tried to correct those errors as I found them.
The lineages on this page are believed to be accurate, but much of it comes from published materials and documents that are believed to be reliable but could contain errors. Care should be taken to verify any information you find here. The lineage from Robert, Earl of Glouscester to Bowen/Fleming as shown in the "Descendants of Richard I" report are taken from published sources. I've learned that there are many erroneous (fake) lineages from/to English Royalty, some that have even fooled the experts and were later refuted. This may be the case here. Since I don't have the sources or resources, or expertise to verify this lineage, I'm accepting what is published by, supposedly, reliable publications, until proven or disproven by those "in the know". I make no claims or "guarantees". Of special note, the "Field" lineage above Zenas Field is taken from F. C. Pierce's book "Field Genealogy" and several researchers have warned me that much of his book, contains errors, omissions, and guess work, especially in the earlier generations above Zechariah Field. I will be making changes in this report as I learn more.
