Home of the McFARLANE family located at 1336 Creek Road Carlisle, PA which predates 1789 and was probably the second home on the property. The view is from the front, on Creek Road, an old Indian trail, that used to be the main path through the area. The Conodoquinet Creek is just across the road. The log section is the left two-thirds of the house (the eastern side) and the right side (west side) was built in the late 1800s. (Photo provided by Anne Peters, owner (2002) of the home)
