Last Will & Testament of Preslsy Hartley, deceased
Admitted to record, October 31st, 1881

      I, Presly Hartley, being of a good and sound and "appernant" mind and this being in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred eighty one now by this "srlastess" take this oppertunity to make this my last will and testament.

      First will to my wife "Elizabeth" Hartley, one third of all my personal and real estate, and I further will that my son Alphord Hartley "reseave" one third of my real and personal estate. And I further will to my son _________ Hartley, one third of my real and personal estate, and I further will that my wife "Elizabeth" Hartley shall have "posation" of all my real and personal estate until her death and then my two sons shall have their share as above named and "menchen". I now fix my signature on the 14 day of May, 1881.
