The Larry Allan Dugat Sr Family Homepage

I am a descendent of Abraham Dugas, who was born in France in 1616. My ancestors left Port Royal, Nova Scotia and wound up in St Martinsville, Louisiana for a short while before eventually ending up in Liberty/Chambers County,Texas. We have been here since 1832 and plan to stay awhile.
I plan to continue work on this site and also continue to research my ancestors. I welcome any comments or information that anyone has concerning this work. I also wish to thank the many , many people who have contributed to this work. To name them on this page would be almost impossible and I almost certainly would forget some. So if you see your work in this
page , thank you and please consider this your page also.

I originally started this site to list only my direct ancestors. But I have found many families which, although not direct ancestors or very distant relation, contributed much information to telling the story of who I am today and how I came to be influenced in certain ways.ie: religion, etc
