I am attempting to research the Ellis Family. The oldest ancestor I have at this time is Joshua C. Ellis, born in N. C. in either 1813 or 1814. The family moved from NC to GA prior to the civil war, then to Arkansas. From there I have traced to Oklahoma to the current Texas descendants. |
