| Sally Staylong is my 4th great-grandmother I was told she was full blooded Cherokee Indian. I have checked the Dawes Rolls and Miller Roll am unsure if the English spelling is correct. Anderson Blaylock was her only son whom married Rebecca and had a daughter Mary Catherine. Mary later married Columbus Arnet in Missouri and had 14 children Harriet, margret, lum, emlack, martha, baxter, george,, mary, joe, john, jim, maggie, renee, & bob. Both Husband & Wife are buried at Thomas Springs Cemetery in Tenn. Harriet married Abe Newton Lewis on April 2, 1894. They had 12 children Columbus, nancy, charles, julia, edward, vina, seth, narsisa, ella, maggie, richard, & ruthie. Columbus Lafate Lewis married Nova Lee Rector I am trying to trace the linage from the Lewis family in Crossville, Tennessee to Sally Staylong and clan. I would appreciate any info others could provide. |
