Ethel Bell died at age eight months and two days, cause of death unknown. Salina's mother, Mary Foreman, was visiting with Jack and Salina down at Pryor Creek, Oklahoma. Mary was standing at the door when she saw a vision of two white horses coming out of the sky. She told Salina it meant there was going to be a death and she thought it was her so she asked Jack and Salina to take her back to Westville, Oklahoma so she could die in her own home. The trip back was in a covered wagon and Ethel took sick. She died on the way to Westville. Salina wrapped her in a blanket and held her in her arms until they reached Westville.
