Watson R. Coleman Deed To Newton M. Foster No. 27 and 28 in the Town of Ellijay Georgia, Gilmer Co This indenture made this twenty first day of June in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Seven between Watson R. Coleman of the one part and Newton M. Foster of the other part, both of the county and state aforesaid. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars in hand received before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold , delivered and hath by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said N. M. Foster, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, all those tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the town of Ellijay in said county containing one acre more or less, it being the two lots distinguished in the plan of said survey known as No 27 and 38. Twenty Seven and Thirty Eight it being the presence whereon F. S. O’Neal now lives including the dwelling house and all the other possessions attached thereto. To have and to hold said bargained premises to his own proper in benefit and behoof possessions in fee simple and the said Watson R. for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns, will warrant and forever defend unto the said N. M. Foster, his heirs and assigns against the claims of himself and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever.
