| I have been researching the FYVIE family for 18 years. Several years ago I successfully linked most Fyvie families together.Most Fyvies living today are descended from one Alexander Fyvie who died in 1677 in the parish of Methlick, Aberdeen, Scotland. His only son James was baptized in the same year and married Jean Milne in Methlick in 1703. As records are indexed or released, I update my records to include any new information on any Fyvies world-wide. I hope to begin a newsletter with the ultimate aim of organizing a family reunion to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the marriage of James Fyvie and Jean Milne in 2003 at Fyvie, Aberdeen, Scotland |
