Horney Family Homepage

For the past thirty five years I have been researching the HORNEY family. The surname of my branch of the family was changed, an accident I think, during the Civil War by my g-grandfather, Henry Clay Harney (Horney)1844-1907. The family came to the USA from England before 1700. They moved from Maryland to North Carolina then scattered to Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and parts west.
