The HOUCK Family Home Page: Germany and Chester Co, PA Roots

I have information on up to 13 generations of the HOUCK family traced back to the Stuttgart area of Germany, to the 1700's in Chester County, PA area: Knauertown, Warwick, Coventry, Elverson, St. Peters. Family later extended into the Reading/Berks Co. area.

Also researching the GOOD and STUBER families from the Berks Co. area. I will share information with anyone who has (or might have) a connection with our family.

Also researching the JACKSON, LEAMER, WALMSLEY, CARROLL families from the Philadelphia, PA, and Wilmington, DE, areas.

I have placed three to five Reports on this page. The first is a Name/Date/Location/Spouse Report listing all the names contained in the Houck file, including some relatives of spouses who have married into the Houck Family. The second report is an Outline Descendant Tree of Johann Georg Haugen, father of Frederick (Haug) Houck, Sr., containing up to 13 generations in some branches of the complete tree. The third Report lists descendants of Johann Georg Haugen including notes and other information about many individuals.

The fourth report (when there is one) is a "Special Report". Although all names in the file are listed in the Name/Date/Location/Spouse Report, not all of those people are descendants of Johann George Haugen. If information on the family of a spouse, i.e. parents, grandparents, siblings, etc., who married into the direct descendants line is available I have included that in the file.

However the program does not include these people in "direct descendant trees". Of interest to certain people may be a descendants tree of, for instance, one of the grandparents. So for the benefit of someone who may be interested in that information I will post it as a Special Report. This report is subject to change and, at times, may not exist.
