The Fletchers From Russell County, Virginia

I am descended from William Fletcher (d. 1798) married to Mary Thurston Hurt (d. 1806); their son, James Fletcher (1792 - 1853) married to Celia Thompson (1796 - 1883); their son, Lorenzo Dow Fletcher (1827 - 1912) married to Mary Martishia Barrett (1839 - 1913); their son, Robert Graham Fletcher (1869 - 1937) married to Nancy Bell Gray (1880 - 1961); their son, Ralph Gray Fletcher (b. 1903) married to Lena Agnes White (1905 - 1975). My father, Ralph Gray Fletcher, disappeared around 1940 and none of the family ever heard from him again. I would love to find him, whether already dead or hopefully still alive. I would appreciate any information anyone can give me. I am also researching these other surnames which have connections with the Fletchers: Thompson, Barrett, Hurt, Gray, Shoemaker, Gilmer, and Wright. I am of the opinion all of these families have their roots in Russell County, Virginia. I am also researching the Puccini, Egnew, Pope, White, and Crutchfield surnames from Kentucky on my mother's side of the family. I have lots of information that I will be happy to share.My birth surname is Fletcher but my adopted name is Howard to explain why the surnames I am researching are different than my name.
