| I am unable to upload my Knittle and Duggins genealogy to this website. To view my data, please go to: http://www.knittledugginssrc.com/ I am currently searching for my father's lineage. I am researching the following family names: KNITTLE/KNITTEL (http://www.awriteshop.com/knittlesrc.htm), SOMMER, AMRHEIN, MADER, LOSCH, MULLER, DAY, TAIGER, SCHATZ, FIGEL, KLUSH, SPONEHOUSE, and FREDERICK. These families were in Pennsylvania, mainly in the Lycoming County (Fairfield Township, Clinton Township and Williamsport). I am interested in any information on the descendants of Joseph Knittle (Knittel), born about 1713 in Germany and his wife Regina Magdalena Fueglin. They arrived in Philadelphia on the ship the Patience September 15, 1753. Their descendants migrated northwest and settled in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania (Williamsport). I am especially interested in finding information on Harold Emerson Knittle, Born August 5, 1890 in Williamsport. His parents were Emerson Ellsworth Knittle, born April 25, 1862 and Sophia Sponehouse, born April 1863, both in Pennsylvania. It is believed that Harold Emerson was adopted by Emerson and Sophie and that he had been born to a relative of either Emerson or Sophie. For my mother's lineage, I am researching the following names: DUGGINS (http://www.awriteshop.com/dugginssrc.htm), ALSUP (ALLSOP), CRUTCHFIELD, KIDD, ROSE, RUBART (RUBERT), HILL, TURNER, McCROSKY, FERGUSON, CRUMP, BOONE (BOHNE), ALEXANDER, STEPHENSON (STEVENSON), HAMMON, ROMAN (ROMANS), MASON, ANDERSON, SINCLAIR, SETTLE and MORGAN.
