Hi, From the Ivy's in Priddy, TX. Priddy is a small town in Central Texas (Pop 290 give or take a few). Everyone in town is related one way or the other. But the Ivy's married into this community in the 1900's and we don't have much information on the Ivy's before they came here.

Our most wanted person is: " J IVY of Alabama in 1850 and Mississippiin 1860 and 1870. J. J. IVY was also known as Jarrot/Jarrett/Jerrett IVY who was married to Eliza J. Unknown but he is possibly the son of Charles IVEY of NC.

This information was sent to me by another Ivy cousin, Kay Murray from personal letters she has that was written in 1884 and was in the family bible.


This is my husbands home town, and after he retired from the army, we came back here to live. We have traveled extentsivley and our children were born all over the world. I am a Colorado Native with TN, MN, Iowa ties, and we are searching for the DODD, STEWART AND BRATTEN's of TN and the HANSEN AND SILLMAN's of MN and the KIRCHGATTERS the same time. Please check out the other pages we have. They will go into more detail. I have received information from so many helpful people plus documentation that I searched for myself. I have not listed the sources for this information on-line, but I will furnish sources to researchers of this family upon request. I do not take credit for all the research these reports reflect.
