I welcome any additions or corrections that need to be made.On my side of the family tree, I am searching for ALLENBERG, BRADLEY, CHILES, COLE, COWAN, DAULING/DOWLING, FERGUSON, GILES, GOELLNER, HARGROVE, HEMPHILL, HENSLEY, JONES, KATZ, LAMBERT, LANGFORD, MCDOWELL, MCGRAW, MEANS, MUNFORD, MUSIK, NORRIS, OVERTON, PERKINS, PETTUS, POLLARD, PRATER, SHEPHERD, SMITHSON, TERRELL, WADKINS/WATKINS, WALKER and related lines.The ALLENBERG, GOELLNER, AND KATZ families immigrated from Germany but were originally from East Prussia. The FERGUSON, HEMPHILL, MCDOWELL, AND MEANS families came from Ireland, they all settled in Allegheny and Butler counties in Pennsylvania. The rest of my families seem to originate in England and settled in Virginia before moving on to Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.On Fred's side of the family tree, I am searching for ADAM, AZURE, BLANKENBAKER, CHILDERS/CHILDRESS, CRIGLER, CRISLER, GARDEPY/GARIEIPY, GARR, HARRIMAN, KAIFER, LAFOUNTAIN, LAFOURNAISE, LAROCQUE, LENOIR, PICHE, SHIELDS, SHORT, SWAIN, VALLIE, VAN CLEVE, VANDERBILT, WILKIE, ZIMMERMAN and related lines. The BLANKENBAKER, CRIGLER, CRISLER, AND ZIMMERMAN families immigrated from Germany and settled in Virgina before moving on to Ohio and Indiana. The VAN CLEVES and VANDERBILTS came from Holland and settled first in New Jersey and New York before moving west.
