HOME PAGE OF THE HANS PETER GRUBER DESCENDANTS

Have been hunting and researching trying to find where Hans Peter was born in the Palatinate in Continental Europe ca. 1699. Have so far found nothing in my search for Hans Peter Gruber aka John Peter Gruber aka Peter Gruber b. ca. 1699, who came from the Palatinate Section of Continental Europe in 1733. He landed in Philadelphia on October 11, 1733 on the Sailing Ship Charming Betsy (Betty) from London with John Ball (Bull) as the Master of the Ship.
As of this writing June 26, 2003, I have been unsuccessful in my research for his birth place in the Palatinate. We know he spoke Germaenic Language. And he could not read or write in German or English as he signed every paper he had to sign with an "X". He settled with his family , wife Anna Barbara b. ca. 1709 and his son Martin age 1 1/2 years old in the Richland Township of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

• Martha Laura Gruver in 1942. (114 KB)
  This is my Aunt Laura taken on Lexington Avenue in 1942. Aunt Laura was a very beautiful woman in youth..She was born in April 1915 and died in April 1997 from a massive coronary occlusion while in hospital in Hollywood, Ca. She played bit parts in movies and played her violin in some of her movies in the 30's and up to the 1950's.
