Some of this is my own research and most of it came from others. I have documented all my research, but make no claim as to the accuracy of the information I have gained from others. I am researching the Shaws of New Jersey in the late 1700s as well as the Brittons of Cayuga County, NY in the early 1800s. Daniel K. Shaw b. 3/12/1795 in New Jersey married Newell Britton b. 9/9/1776 in Cayuga County New York 5/22/1816. I am looking for information on his parents.
I am also looking for leads on The Richardson family of Anderson County, South Carolina and Franklin County, Georgia.
