I am researching the Powell and Chapman familys that lived in Missouri in the late 1800s. Margaret Jane Powell married
William (Willis) Chapman. They had at least one daughter named Roxy Green born January 1898 in Keytesville , Missouri. They later moved to Oklahoma. Roxy married Charles Sauer who was from Minnesota. Margaret Powell Chapman ran a bording house in Muscogee, Oklahoma. They later moved to Shreveport, Louisiana. Roxy and Charles children were Charles, Margaret, (my Mother) and Julia. Charles married Dorothy ? who had a son named Joe from a previous Marriage. Julia married Richard Williams and lived in the Dallas area. I recently found out that my Great-Grandmother, The Mother of Charles Sauer, was named Julia Costello (Costelloe-Costella) and married my Geat Grandfather, also Charles Sauer in The Minneapolis, Minnesota area probably in the late 1800's. I believe she was born in this country but her family came from Ireland. I would love to know more about her family. If anyone has any Information about The Costello's of Minnesota or Wisconsin please let me know. They may have come into America through Canada but without her parents names I cannot trace them.
