In 1842 the Richardsons were instrumental in establishing the first Baptist Church in Jasper Co TX. Benjamin and Robert Richardson, my great great grandfather died c1849-50 along with a brother, Ketcham, in an epidemic. Robert's widow, Clarissa, then married Andrew Crockett, nephew of Davy Crockett of the Alamo.
