I am working on identifying the descendants of Tobias Saunders of Westerly, Rhode Island. I have been researching these names for about twenty years. Related names are SAUNDERS, BELCHER, PENDLETON, CHASE, SIMMONS, PECKHAM, CLARKE, BLIVEN, HALL, BALL The family started in Rhode Island with Tobias's immigration from England in about 1640, moved to and through New York beginning in about 1790 to Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan by 1880 and points west. I also have a report on my wife's ancestors, Larsons and Bolstads who came to Wisconsin from Norway about a hundred years ago. |
