1. Information about the Shankle family pior to George Shankle, Jr. b.1754 in Stanley Co., N.C.. We believe Avold? Shankle came to the U.S.A from Germany by way of Scotland, around 1745 with children George,Sr. and John?

2. Ancestors of William Duke Poore of Stokes Co., NC b.12/12/1850 d. 10/18/1905 husband of Minnie Ester Dillon.

3. Ancestors of Thomas Flonry Dillon of Stokes Co., NC. husband of Mildred Collins.

4. Ancestors of William Henry Harwood of Gloucester, Va., husband of Catherine Stuart Smith, father of George Benson Harwood.
