    This is the information on my family. I feel that my family tree is 99% completed. I still have a few loose ends but all of the family mystery people have been solved. It only took 8 years.

  • The Little Rascals (25 KB)
    These are my uncles in a photo probably shot around 1917 because my (no pun intended) uncle Sam, the youngest with the flag, was born in 1915. Uncle Sam later served in the Navy.
  • Ola Sisk (9 KB)
    This is my grandmother Addie Iola Shirley Sisk with an unidentified child at the moment. It isn't my cousin Benny we know that now. I am researching Ola's family too. Her mother was Addie A. Henderson Shirley.
  • Mystery Man 1 (6 KB)
    A month after my father died I went through his mother's family bible PAGE BY PAGE. And found several pictures and an obituary of his grandfather. If I had done this task a month before my father could have told me who the pictures were that my grandmother thought enough of to put in her bible. The lesson here for everyone searching their family is to look through the bible PAGE BY PAGE. Don't just turn it upside down and see what falls out. Lesson 2. Label your pictures.
