NAMES RESEARCHING: COLBY, PIERCE, CORBIN, PAULSEN, BAUGH I am researching information on John Paulsen who came to the U.S. from Denmark around 1876. He was born in Nevsha, Denmark in 1859. He married Mary Baugh (born Montgomery County MO in 1876) in Galena KS in 1902. Her parents were John and Elizabeth Baugh. I have very little information on John Baugh other than they resided in Missouri. Elizabeth was born 1842 in Missouri and died 1905 in Prosperity, MO. There was no mention of John's death (when or where it occurred). John (Hans) Paulsen and Mary ran the Purcell Mercantile Store in Purcell Missouri in the early 1900's. I am trying to find information on the brother John emigrated with and the one he came to meet. The only name I have is Christian Frederick. I am also researching the Colby/Pierce Line. Georgianna Pierce was born in 1876 in Scotland Co. Missouri. Parents David and Ardenna Corbin. Her mother died when she was two and not much else is known of her family. She came to Kansas and married Charles Colby in 1896. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
