I have a lot of research in this area, I'm interested in the
history of these Counties also. I have done a story on a town in Marion co. called Dodd City and I'm still looking for more information on the families that have lived there and their stories.

  This picture was taken at Markle Hollow, Marion Co AR. My grandma Tyne Sullivan sister Mary (Horton) Markle and husband George own a tomato cannery at Markle Hollow and had cabins there for thier workers and family to live in while working at the cannery.

  Doctor Derryberry practice med in Marion Co and Boone Co Arkansas in the late 1800's. He also owned a lot of shares in the mining bussiness of that time his wife Louisa who is in the picture with him is buried at the old Derryberry cemetery in Marion Co. AR I think the Doctor is there too but not for sure
