| The First purpose of this family tree project is to find all the known ancestors, and cousins, for Cleo Walker, LaRue Stout and their children as shown below. The second purpose that has developed is to complete as much as possible a family tree that covers all most all of the major families in Roger Mills County, OK. All the Roger Mills County obituaries that can be found are being added in this process.Descendants of Cleo Dawson Walker (2). Cleo Dawson Walker, born September 24, 1911 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma; died February 06, 1976 in Beckham County, Elk City Hospital, Elk City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Lewis Franklin Walker , Jr. and Estella "Tell" Hamman. He married (1) Bessie LaRue Stout, born Private. She was the daughter of James Burrell "Jim" Stout and Lagolia "Mug" Kemp. She married William L "Bill" Forgey , Jr., born April 04, 1915 in Oklahoma; died October 02, 1935 in Payne County, Stillwater, Oklahoma.. He was the son of William L Forgey and Ora May Wife Of William Forgey. She married (2) Cleo Dawson Walker.Cleo’s ancestors are believed to be traceable back to Meshach Walker (b. 1751, NJ - d. 1839, OH), Johan Fassnacht (b. 1727-28 Germany - d. 1799, PA), Walter Parke (b. abt 1318, England - d. abt 1378, England), Phillip Hamman (b. 1750, Germany - d. 1803-1841, AL) Capt. Valentine Cook (b. 1730, England - d. 1797, WV) and Jacob Baughman (b. 1696, Switzerland - d. bef 1782, WV) and othersLaRue’s ancestors are believed to be traceable back to Henry Maplesden (b. bef 1323, England - d. bef 1373, England), Alan Eps (b. 1406-1435, England - d. 1471, England), John Stout (b. abt 1580, England - bef d. 1660 England) and William Kemp (b. bef 1721, NC - d. bef 1821, NC or TX) and others. The Maplesden branch of the tree has yet to be added to this tree. Children of Cleo Walker and Bessie Stout are: i. Dolson Dale Walker, born Private; married Mary Iva Burnor Private. ii. Jeanetta Sue "JJ" Walker, born Private; married (1) Ronald Eugene "Ronnie" Jackson Private; married (2) Max Earl Wilson Private. iii. Donnie Seth Walker, born Private; married Lynda Joyce Dodson Private. iv. Robert Allen "Rob" Walker, born Private.v. Tamie Lynn Walker, born Private (1) Gary Kerv Pope Private; married (2) Gary Carroll Phillips Private.The major sir-names for the tree at this time related as ancestors to Cleo & LaRue Walker are: Bennett, Epes/Eppes/Epps, Hamman, Kemp, Parke, Stout, Walker and there are others for which there is little information at this time.
