The following document was copied and transcribed from the website of the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Page. This page was a memorial to deceased volunteer firefighters including John M. Berger, Letty’s maternal ggrandfather, who apparently was a member of the Department for several years. A special thank you to Cousin Joyce for finding this wonderful information about our ggrandfather and his firefighting days. Hopefully there will be more to come. It was a real thrill to see his name on this page.
