| The Damvelt/Damveld family orgins are The Netherlands. My grandfather Gerrit Damveld emigrated to the United States to Holland, Michigan from Hengelo, Overijssel, Netherlands in 1907. My 8th generation grandfather is Bernardus Damveld, born in Haaksbergen, Overijssel, The Netherlands in 1680.Other family names researching are: Rorink, Zengerink, Zegink, Egberink, Weustink, Holtman, Scherphof, Hondelink, Van den Kamp, Ten Cate, Esselink, Korf, Borinink, Voermaag, Underink, Klein Olck, and Huiskes/Ter Maat. These families have all married into the Damvelt/Damveld's.Will share all and any information. I also have a cousin Herman Damveld who is doing the research in the Netherlands., he speaks and reads Dutch and I speak a little, but can read Dutch. |
