We are the daughters of Navy Commander James William Robinson from Coos Bay, (Marshfield) Oregon and Loa May LaRue from Port Jefferson, Ohio. Loa May LaRue was the daughter of Frank Herman LaRue and Elsie Mae (May) Payne. Frank LaRue's family once owned a lot of land around the Chicago area, and Elsie Mae's family were covered wagon pioneers to Oregon. Her mother, Susan Mary Warren came from Kentucky, and we aren't sure, but think her father, Thomas Jefferson Payne may have come from a different state, possibly, Pennsylvania.
