William Ross STITT was born in Mount Pulaski, Illinois on 03 April 1885. His parents were from Ontario,Canada. I don't know why they came to the U.S. but they returned to Canada sometime after William was born. He was married to Mary Christine GRANT. He died in Rochester, Minnesota on 26 September 1941. William and Mary are buried in Gananoque, Ontario. William J. STITT was born in Prescott,Ontario, Canada in 1856.He died on 25 May 1891 in a canoeing accient on Rideau Lake in Lanark County. He was married to Rachel ROSS born 1859. She died on 5 February 1899. They had two children: William Ross STITT and Lottie Carlyle STITT married to Amos ALLEN of Smiths Falls,Ontario. She died in 1964. Lottie and Amos ALLEN are buried in Smiths Falls, Ontario. William Ross STITT is buried in Gananoque, Ontario with his wife Mary Christine GRANT. James STITT was born in 18??. He was married to Louisa STITT born about 1839 in Ontario, Canada. Louisa was a boarding house keeper in Brockville, Ontario in 1871. She is buried in Edwardsburg, Ontario. They had at least one son: William J. STITT in Prescott, Ontario in 1856 or 1859. Andrew ROSS was born about 1806 in Scotland. He died on 31 October 1880 in Kitley Township, Ontario. He was married to Rachel FERGUSON born about 1817 in Scotland. She died 3 September 1886 in Kitley Township, Ontario. Both are buried in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. William Henry GRANT was born in 1837. He died in 1933 in Canada. He was married to Mary A. MC GIFFIN. Mary was born in 1849 and died in 1927. They had a daughter named Mary Christine GRANT. It is unknown if they had any other children. William, his wife and daughter are all buried in Gananoque. Bertha Louise PORTER was born in 1923 in Greig,New York. Her parents were George PORTER and Hattie WRIGHT. Her paternal grandparents were George PORTER and Anna E. PORTER from Lewis County, New York. Peter DEMAS was born in Greece in 1886. He died in Addison,Illinois in 1974. He was married to Katherine TRILIVAS. She was born in Ithaca, Greece in 1890. She died in Garfield Heights, Ohio in 1974. Katherine's parents were Alexander and Vivian TRILIVAS. Manuel D. HALEPIS was born in 1888 in Leka, Samos, Greece. He died in Cleveland, Ohio in 1960. He was married to Harriett MASTIS. She was born in 1904 in Greece. She died in 1985 in Rocky River,Ohio.Manuel's parents names were Demetrios HALEPIS born in Greece and Nina VASILIKAS also born in Greece.Harriett's parents names were Demetri MASTIS and Pauline KATSIS.
