The Home Page Of "The Still/Stille Families Of Ohio"

Updated February 25, 2001

We trace our family to Ebenezer Still/Stille, and he was born in France. In France they pronounce the name Still-lay, but in the States the (e) was left off the end of the name by most of the family.
Besides my search for STILL/STILLE I am looking for the rest of my Pedigree Lines, they are Wilson, Ash, Hadley, Bryant, Davis, Oliver, Palmer, Powers, Brabham, Kirkbride, Bennett, Barrett, Hall, Edwards, Riggs, Kemp, Vale, Shocky, George, Barrackman, Eddy, Fowlers, Mugrage, Lewis, Harden/Hardin, Smith, Glidden, Walker, Steven, Snider, Yost, and lots more. My family lines go back over 200 years in Southeast Ohio and Washington County, Ohio.

After you visit the repot section, please write or email me if you are a decendant or related to someone in our tree.

Our STILL/STILLE Family Reunion is held each year in August at Caldwell Ohio at the Noble County Fairgrounds. In 2001 it will be held at 12:00 noon on August 18. We will have a pinic lunch and have a group photo and exchange family history information. We have done a Family Cookbook with recipes of our STILL/STILLE ancestors. You can write or email me for a copy, we are selling them for $7.50 each plus $2.50 shipping.

We send out Still/Stille Newsletter to the family 2 times each year, and about 150 are on our maillist. The reunion will be August 18, 2001. Hope to see you there.

I have written a small book of 105 pages on the Still/Stille Family. We sell the book to make money for our cemetery fund. The profits are to put up new grave markers for those in the family that either don't have a stone or the stones have weathered away by Mother Nature. Chapters one through nine is selling for 15.00 and can be picked up at the reunion. OR we can send it to you in the mail. Shipping is $3.20.
