Edward Totty Family Tree

Edward TOTTY was born about 1765 in Virginia. His father's name is unknown at this time, but he is named in the will of his grandfather Thomas TOTTY dated 1771 in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Marriage records indicate he was married to Agnes DANCE March 10, 1792, in Chesterfield County. He is found in Amelia County, Virginia in the 1820 census and in Hickman County, Tennessee in 1830 and 1840. He has not been found in the 1850 census. His two sons Edward O. and James Adolphus and a daughter Elizabeth TOTTY ARNOLD moved to Independence County Arkansas, Edward O. was there by 1838 and James is there by 1847 and Jesse and Elizabeth TOTTY ARNOLD are listed in the 1850 census there. Both Edward O. and James had large families and their descendants have spread over much of the United States. Little is know about the ARNOLD family at this time. I would like to correspond with any descendants of these families or any other TOTTY family.
